Top Interior Design Trends For 2023
As the year draws to a close soon, many people will be thinking about how they can update their homes in 2023. For some inspiration, take a look at these interior design trends that will be huge next year.
FrogTape has released its 2023 Design Trends, along with designer and TV personality Taniya Nayak. Among the emerging styles are bohemian influences, with bright patterns and colours, handcrafted goods, wooden statues, and varying textures inspired by the likes of Morocco, India, and Africa.
Commenting on the trend, Ms Nayak advised: “Mix chairs in different shades of fabric around the table or paint the inside of a closet with a bright, bold hue.”
The painter’s tape manufacturer also said redrock is going to have a renewal next year. Homeowners should think of clean slates, earthy tones, and simple textures, along with bright turquoise to contrast.
Canvas murals, clay accessories and olive-coloured ornaments suit this theme very well.
Homeowners will also be inspired by the Nordic culture in 2023, with many painting their walls crisp white and juxtaposing this with natural materials, such as wood. Concrete, rustic fixtures, as well as black elements will bring this look into the 21st century.
Lastly, FrogTape predicted the modern midtown look will be huge next year, saying this will give people the chance to pause and “savour every moment of each day that goes by”.
Plush fabrics, such as velvet and satin, add a luxurious element to this trend, along with metallic touches. So, make sure you get some art deco ceiling lights to fit in with this look.
