1. Delivery & Shipping Charges
1.1 For delivery to the UK (includes UK Mainland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland) we charge based on the total order value as per the following table:

1.3 Currently the only countries we serve outside of Europe are The United States of America and Canada. Shipping rates are based on total order weight and are summarised in the table below.

1.4 Our delivery and shipping charges as outlined above include all relevant taxes.
1.5 Applicable delivery charges will be added to your basket at checkout.
1.6 We reserve the right to change our delivery charges at any time and without notice.
1.7 In some exceptional circumstances, orders of particularly large quantities and or heavy/bulky items may be subject to additional shipping charges. In the unlikely event that this happens, we shall inform you before processing your order. The customer shall reserve the right to a full refund if the additional charge is dissatisfactory in accordance with our returns and refunds policy.
2. Delivery & Shipping Time Frames
2.1 Retrolight is a drop-shipping business and as such, our products are dispatched from their country of origin/manufacture/stock as soon as they become available. Exact delivery time frames vary according to product(s) purchased and country of residence. Please refer to the relevant product page for more detailed information.
2.2 For UK customers, the delivery of standard/stock items is typically 3-5 working days from date of purchase. Made to order and bespoke items will be dispatched as soon as they are ready and the total time between placing your order and receipt of goods will be 2 - 4 weeks.
2.3 For non-UK customers, delivery time frames will generally exceed those outlined in 2.2 above. Exact times will vary according to your region and local courier services.
2.4 For enquiries into dates of dispatch and ETA for ordered goods, you can contact us directly at email@example.com.
2.5 Retrolight shall endeavour to keep you informed and updated on the status of your order in the event of delays, whether they be in manufacture or in transit.
3.1 Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Saturdays and Sundays are not classed as working days.
3.2 It is your responsibility to provide the correct delivery address which includes the postcode. Loss because of an incorrect address is the customer’s responsibility.
3.3 When your order leaves us for delivery, you will receive an email reporting dispatch details. Please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 28 days if your order has not arrived, after this time tracing a lost parcel or gaining compensation is the customer’s responsibility.
3.4 Please remember that it is your responsibility to check that the items you order can be delivered safely and will fit through doors and staircases in their packaging before you place your order. Please inform us of any parking restrictions or vehicle access problems.
3.5 All standard deliveries are to your door only and depend on your location. You may need to assist the driver with larger items.
3.6 If a parcel is returned to us due to non-collection, undeliverable due to insufficient access or for any reason that is not within our reasonable control we cannot accept responsibility and a further postage fee will be charged to re-deliver your order.
3.7 If you request your order to be left with a neighbour or in a safe place we cannot be held responsible if you fail to receive your parcel.
3.8 We will dispatch goods ordered by you as soon as possible to the address you give us for delivery, but in any event within 7 days of your order, subject to availability of stock.
3.9 If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing, at our contact address, of the problem within 72 hours of the delivery of the goods in question.
3.10 If your goods have not arrived on the forecasted date or within the forecasted range of dates communicated, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem no later than 5 days from the expected date of arrival, or the final date specified by us in the forecasted range of dates.
3.11 If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be, at your option:
- a. To make good any shortage or non-delivery;
- b. To replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or
- c. To refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.
3.12 Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under clause 3.11(c) above.
3.13 You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
3.14 Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights, nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
